You Matter
"You Matter" is a powerful song that brings hope and encouragement to anyone who listens. It is a reminder that no matter what you're going through, you are not alone and that you matter. The You Matter Project has been in the works for a little over 8 months. I wrote the song in early October of 2022. In December the song was recorded. In January I began promoting the song by posting #YouMater quotes throughout my socials. The song was set to be released March 20, 2023. The day of the release was surreal. Creating a plan and sticking to its schedule for release was still something new to me.
Video Production is in the process now. Having a song that is so meaningful not just to me but to the world, It might take a few tries to get the video right but it will be well worth it. A documentary spreading awareness on Mental Health/Addiction, and homelessness is also in the works. Giving light and love back into the world is the premise of the project as a whole, but making sure I can leave a lasting impression on the help that is needed in our communities is even more important.
